An expert examination consists of deep analysis based on colors, shapes and patterns. Objective assessments and high quality images give huge support to the expert, both in increasing accuracy and making fast, easy examinations. Since experts come from a various backgrounds and schools, many problems occur in the reproducibility of assessments, as well as in the standardization of the terminology.

	The great limitation of subjective algorithms is the length of time required for each examination. It has been widely demonstrated that subjective algorithms are inefficient and lack concordance as compared to expert's common sense and experience (J Am Acad Dermatol. 2003 May; 48(5): 679-93)
